Indian Visions

From November 13 through November 16, 2008, the Indian Visions Indian Film Festival took place in Washington, DC.The festival began on a musical note—Abhishek Kapoor’s Rock On!! was screened at the opening night and Kapoor was present in DC for the screening of his film. He interacted with the audiences at the reception following the screening of his film.

The festival also featured question and answer sessions with directors Brahmanand Singh (Pancham Unmixed), Spandan Banerjee (The Fiction and Beware Dogs), Ashish Avikunthak (Nirakar Chhaya/Shadows Formless), Mona Kumar (Between Two Worlds), Harjant Gill (Milind Soman Made Me Gay) and Leena Jayaswal and Indira Somani (Crossing Lines).
