New York now joins Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, NewHampshire, Iowa, as well as Washington, D.C., in legally recognizinggay marriage. With the passing of this bill, celebrations eruptedacross the United States.

This is heartening news for all – gays and their hetero friends alike.After all, everyone has the right to live in the manner they so desire.And it is not that often that the light of inclusion and tolerance shinesso brightly.
