Rani As A Sardaar-Ji?
Looks like Bollywood has taken a fancy to Sardaarcharacters, whether it be Sunny Deol in Gadar, Akshay Kumar in Singh Is Kinng or Saif Ali Khan in Love Aaj Kal. But, guess what? Now we’ll see a girl don the role of a Sikh boy. What am I talking about? Dil Bole Hadippa! In Anurag Singh’s Dil Bole Hadippa! (produced under the YRF banner), Rani Mukherjee will portray the role of Veera, a girl who loves cricket but the girls in her village don’t play cricket. So, she puts on a turban and beard to fulfill her dreams! The film also stars Shahid Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Dalip Tahil, Rakhi Sawant, Sherlyn Chopra, Vallabh Vyas, Poonam Dhillon, Tabu and Vrajesh Hirjee. Ready to release on September 18, looks like the month of September will offer Bollywood fans an assortment of light-hearted films to choose from.
