Independent film 'Distance Between US' to be released next year

The Distance Between Us (2013), an Independent film, stars 80+ actors from NYC, NJ, PA and DE including Rahul Rai, Leah Kavita, Akshay Reddy, Ariane Mallon , Jonah Ehrenreich, Nicken Kotak, Cesar di Parra, Linda Elizabeth, Scott Gorbach, Roni Mazumdar, Axita Patel, Ashok chaudhry and many others.

For most part it is a Feature film with strong Romantic Drama and a bit of Comedy added to the flavor. It is an intense and emotional movie based on true stories related to immigration. The movie was shot in 60+ locations in and around NJ, PA and DE. The preproduction work started in early January took about 8 months with the crew working on locations, logistics, auditions, budgets, props, equipments, trial runs, practice, project plans, editing, screenplay and timelines. The production ran back to back from Aug 4th to Aug 23rd with the cast and crew moving to sometimes more than two locations in a day. The cast and crew worked nonstop completed the production within 20 days. Currently the movie is in post production and plans are afoot to release it early next year. The whole movie revolves around Mega who is a young ambitious software engineer from a University in India. She graduated with a under grad in India and wants to break the cycle of poverty in her family and decides to immigrate to the US. She has a business idea she presents to three prospective US companies. Success is something that does not come without hard work, sacrifice and perseverance. This is her journey to a life to succeed not in work but also in her personal life.

Ravi who is played by Rahul Rai is one of the three guys deeply in love with Mega. The plot moved through a set of choices of love and ambition between the guys where each decision of Mega leads to a few misunderstanding.
