For at least 35 years, Guruji Shri Rao Maharaj ji has been a guiding force to a small group practicing Spirituality on a scientific (ever changing) basis. The non profit Organization, based in Mumbai is called 'Anamic Atmanubhooti Kendra'. As Founder and spiritual guide of Kendra, yet very humble and simple human being, he has been practicing and expounding Scientific Spirituality, in the truest sense, for the last 50 years. He has been exploring new horizons in the realms of spirituality. The search for ultimate truth and bliss has always been the goal of Bhartiya Rishis and Sages. They accept the extreme solitude and non materialism to achieve their goal. Hinduism is Spirituality however it is misunderstood and portrayed as a religion and constantly attacked.

Spirituality is science and religion is business of spirituality and no religion can withstand the debate about the ultimate truth in compare to Hinduism. Rao Maharaj expert in various natural and spiritual energies, such as Divine healing, Reiki, Mahikari, Pranik, Seikem etc; is simply known to his group as Guruji. His only message is to discard the illusion of 'I'-'Ego' and to go back to Nature, (ni-sarg). We all are interwoven with the Nature and inseparable. He speaks what he sees and experiences through Pragnya, the knowledge that dawns in the thoughtless state of the Brain.

Sages always have talked about the difference between the Mind and the Brain and he is also a big promoter of this concept. His says, 'Mind is Society's creation and the Brain belongs to Nature. The main objective of the Kendra is to free the seeker's Brain from the vicious clutches of the Mind-I-Ego. Mind is a word bound, chemical, electric and electro-magnetic process. The Mind can be differentiated broadly into two categories: (i) Wordless Sensitive Basic Mind (Natural) and (ii) the Word bound, conditioned Mind (Man made)?. According to Shri Rao Maharaj, Nature has appointed human being as the custodian of this world. Unless the human body and brain is freed from the vicious clutches of the Mind - I, that is, instead of the Mind ruling the Body and Brain, if the process is reversed, only then can mankind live peacefully and in harmony with Nature.

His discourses and experiments are to clear the brain controlled by the Mind-I which can only exist if supported by the body. It has to be cleared and Mind-I have to brought under nthe control of Brain. Discourses of Shri Rao Maharaj in the form of essays, have been compiled and published in a limited first edition titled "Gray Matter Revolution - A Journey Within".
